Beauty of UOK

University of Kelaniya, My University has become one of the top five Universities in Sri lanka at the time. And it has grabbed the 4th position overall in the top list of the state Universities in Sri Lanka. It has become a mother to gives higher education to her children in different different areas like Humanities, Medicine, Science, Social Sciences, Commerce & Management, Computing & Technology and this mother commits and contribute alot for the development of the country.

When I first entered into the University on my veryyy first day for student registration I this giant board infront on the University. 

Every time i see this big board i feels like this board gives an enormous look to the University premises.

As u you enter into the University you see this first, The statue of Lord Buddha and whenever you see this it gives us some kind of a metal relief and a relax eventhough I'm a catholic student. And this statue in the middle of the University blesses the whole University and it adds some beauty to the University as well.

Once you enter from main gates this board appears first. And soon by we pass this there's a place we can't ignore which is our sitting place most of the time and the place we met hundreds of new friends which is non other than 'Ala bamma' 

Here you can see the place, we used to sit on it and talk with each other, had lots of fun in here and still having and during our very first days we had to talk with our seniors at this place which are unforgettable incidents in our life.

This is our main ground which use by everyone for their day today sports activities.

As you pass by, Here you enter into the road which is next to 'Thal wata'

This is the place where you already know called 'Thal wata'. This place has become a shade to thousands of students who sit here and try to relax their selves.

Meeamba sewana - Near The Main Library,It has become a place for students who want to study in a cool and nice environment.

The below pictures show the most famous 'IT gaha'. It gives the entrance to the ICT centre as well as gives a cool environment for the student who sit under the tree. I personally like the place since it gives some kind of a dark environment even-though the outside is heavily sunny.

And this University provides us to work with different different students from different different cultures through clubs like LEO, Rotaract, Gavel, LED and organisations like AIESEC which adds extra beauty to the University which is not tangible, But it feels.

Finally I would like to say, This has become my second mother who teaches me not only academics, but also makes me a perfect man with a strong backbone to stand infront of the Society tomorrow.
