My Dream Trip... I would say it's a Field Visit
You all must be wondering why i say it's a field visit. So everyone has a dream to visit some places they love to go during their life. So mine is kind of different, Yes I too have a dream trip to visit the company Nissan in Japan and have a look how it's made Nissan GT-R in their production plants.
The Nissan GT-R is a 2-door high performance car produced by Nissan unveiled in 2007. It is the successor to the Nissan Skyline GT-R although no longer part of the Skyline range itself, It's independent now and it has come a long journey from 2007 to 2017 introducing their newest Nissan GT-R R36 model with all the functionalities a sports car should have and it's able to compete with Lamborghinis even without a struggle. It's stunning body design makes everyone attractive.
GT-R is stands for Gran Turismo Race which is a Japanese name and Australian motoring publication Wheels has given a nickname to the GT-R as "Godzilla" which itself tells us how powerful the car should be and it matches alot with the GT-R.
Now I have taken you through a brief introduction about Nissan GT-R, Now I'll share with you in detail how will my dream trip going to be.
Since I'm so much interested in Automobile industry i have, I have watched several Magazine videos like National geography Mega factories production line of the Nissan GT-R and How it's made Dreams car Nissan GT-R and so on. So since I have gone through these videos i have kind of a wide idea how my dream trip will going to be. And what I'm expecting from my this visit is to get a broad knowledge how to make this super car from the scratch to the ending point.
As you can see in the picture at the very beginning it starts from steel rollers like this and starts production of this beast.
Like this they put steel rollers into stamping machines and make steel parts for the car. After that they done with the structure, they put the car into the production line as the picture below shows.
After every part is assembled they put the car into the painting line.
After the paint job is done here comes the beast's heart, the engine of the car, 3,799 cc twin-turbo 6 cylinder engine with 478 hp, 357 kW.
After fixing the engine here comes the interior fixing to the Godzilla.
And this is the final product coming to the end of the production line
And one thing i can't keep myself away as a Software Engineer is the Nissan GT-R's performance meter panel.
As of 2014 the GT-R was the only model built on Nissan's Premium Midship (PM) platform, an evolution of the Front Midship (FM) architecture introduced in its 2001 (V35) Skyline.
Hope you enjoyed by going through this and gained some knowledge about how a super car is made.
